Ereka Says: It's a Gene Simmons World...

I would have never guessed that Gene Simmons would be the 3rd person and the 1st male to be fired. It’s a shame to see him go... he’s such good television!

I’ll say it again: not consulting with the client, or in this case not understanding their objective or their product, is a waste of time and money. Empresario spent a fortune on beautiful decals, posters, life size photos, but did not highlight the uniqueness of the product. They should have been branding high quality yet cheap INK! Which, by the way, is hard to find. Photo quality ink runs out quickly and is expensive to replace.

Gene Simmons is clearly a successful man who has done very well branding himself so I can see why it was hard for The Donald to fire him, but really was their any other options? He was the leader and the one making all of the decisions. I do understand why Nely Galan was under fire and if I was her, I’d be worried. There are still no standouts on team Empresario. Come on Marilu Henner... show us what you’ve got!

Hydra is starting to break down. I was aggravated by Piers Morgan’s reaction to the coffee spill. He’s the closest thing to Omarosa on team Hydra. He created a sense of panic before there was any need. I’m guessing he’d be the first to go if team Hydra ends up in the boardroom. If I was on team Hydra, I would nominate Piers as the next team leader just to see if he’s capable of stepping up and leading a team to a win.

My bet is on Carol & Marilu as two strong figures to emerge from the women's team.

Nely has a lot of problems, and as DT pointed out, with her television background, she should have nailed both assignments. The episode #2 assignment on the women's side looked like something a penniless nonprofit would produce, not something with the benefit of a television executive's guidance and direction.

I'm very surprised that Gene did not speak to the client--again! Those people are so important because it is they who are investing the dollars into the project--not Gene! Sorry to see him go, but Gene has to look beyond himself. I was surprised and SHOCKED when he had Jennie and Omarosa to come back to the boardroom with him? What did they do? Unless something happened that was not shown on the episode, I didn't see any wrongdoing from them at all! As for Piers? Relax, Piers! Take a deep breath when something goes wrong! Think positive and things do tend to work out! You're 42 years old and you are supposed to set an example on how to keep your cool and poise and show how professional and what kind of a leader that you are and can be!

As for Nely? She needs to be more concise in her presentation!

Thank God it is not Gene's world! Yippee!! He was a mess in my opinion and he needed to be fired. In a world that demands teamwork and good utilization of people, he failed misearably.

In my opinion he brought in Omorosa and Jennie because he was weary of the game. He didn't want to play anymore and rather than quit, he positioned himself to be fired. He knew the Donald was not going to fire those ladies to save him, so he fell on his sword! Yeah!

As far as Piers and the rest of Hydra, the only person on the mens team that demonstrates leadership is Stephen Baldwin and it is scary! He hasn't grasped the concept of pushing others to lead. The best leaders also know how to follow others and be a support to others. Stephen doesn't need to prove he can lead. He needs to relax and allow the strengths and skills of the others to come out. My vote to is Stephen. I want him out of the picture. He is not the "best thing since sliced bread." And it is time for him to exit. My two cents!

Ereka,

If you ever watched Gene Simmons family jewels, you would have noticed that Gene has never failed meeting with his clients, and, as might sound an absurd, he would do whatever it takes to deliver what the clients wants and needs are. There is one episode all about that where daughter asks mom "Is there anything Daddy would not do for a deal?", mom replies: "He sold you once, but I got you back". Make no mistake, Gene is a character and he never wanted to be in the pits of the Apprentice in the first place... he thought he was going to be judging, he obviously realized he was at another level compared to the other celebrities. He exit himself of the show... honestly, he was the only one that made Mr. Trump expose himself. Mr Trump was willing to sacrifice the core values of the show (firing the one responsible for the task loss) to keep ratings high... Mr. Trump struggled with this last decision by not getting what he wanted (fire Nely). I think Gene Simmons, on his exit interview should have pick his guitar and sing "you can't always get what you want"
